Oda, Nobunaga
Summary
Nobunaga is a formidable warlord on the brink of unifying Japan, having conquered numerous clans across the nation. While he is notoriously temperamental and harbors a deep hatred for ninja, he is also distinguished by his willingness to recognize talent regardless of social standing. He is the father of Princess Sara, as well as her older sister Toku and brother Nobukatsu. His volatile and unpredictable nature compels many lords, such as Mitsuhide and Ieyasu, to exercise extreme caution in his presence. When Usagi’s exceptional skills come to his attention, he compels her to stay as his herbalist. She consents to this arrangement in order to locate Hanzō and persuade him to abandon his quest for revenge against the destruction of Iga. During Mitsuhide’s rebellion, Hanzō fakes Nobunaga’s death to satisfy Mitsuhide’s thirst for vengeance. In reality, Nobunaga walks into the flames set by Mitsuhide and is discovered deceased once the fire subsides.
