Summary
Hajime Arakawa serves as the butler in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. While little is revealed about his background, it is disclosed that he is an operative of the Agency and maintains a connection with Koizumi. He is frequently accompanied by Mori, a fellow Agency member who disguises himself as a maid. Arakawa first appears in the Lone Island Syndrome arc as the butler of a specific mansion, returning later during the Lone Mountain Syndrome arc. He also assists in the rescue of Mikuru from the opposing faction of the Agency.
