Isurugi, Raijuta
Summary
Raijuta Isurugi is a warrior who opposes the pacification of Japan, striving to assemble an army composed of the most powerful bandits to rebel against the new government. To secure the resources necessary for this endeavor, he rescues Yutaro, a child from a wealthy family. Raijuta practices the Shinko Ryu fighting style, which enables him to launch long-distance attacks through the air using the force of his Katana. This technique severely injures Yutaro’s arm, causing permanent nerve damage. Ultimately, Raijuta and his rebellion are defeated by Kenshin.
