Nekota
Seiyuu / Dub
Summary
Though Nekota may appear distant and indifferent, this demeanor stems from his difficulty in discussing his own feelings rather than any malice or coldness. He is inherently kind, laid-back, and calm, allowing him to maintain good relations with his classmates despite a tendency to arrive late to school. His observant nature enables him to recognize when Mikki is struggling or confused, revealing a deep care for those around him. Unaware that Mikki perceives him with a cat’s face, he navigates a complex home life as the primary caregiver for his younger sister, Meguru, and his father. With his father working long hours and no mother present, Nekota assumes the maternal role, cooking meals for the entire family. Initially, he feels unsettled by Mikki’s intense interest and stalking behavior, which was driven by her desire to see his human appearance. However, he retains a fondness for her quirks even while finding them strange. As the series progresses, their bond deepens, and it becomes evident that Nekota harbors romantic feelings for Mikki.
