Summary
Honda Chiaki served as the biological mother of Goro before succumbing to an unspecified illness when he was just three years old. Her passing deeply affected both Shigeharu and Goro, though Shigeharu managed to compose himself and took on the role of raising his son alone. This period lasted until he encountered Hoshino Momoko, Goro’s kindergarten teacher, who bore a striking resemblance to the late Chiaki. Due to this similarity, Goro began addressing Momoko as Oka-san.
