Summary
Yuuto Kiba is an eleventh-grade student who presents himself as the school’s prince and claims to be Issei’s self-proclaimed best friend. A former human who was reincarnated as a Mid-class Devil and serves as Rias’ Knight, he is the sole survivor of the tragic "Project: Holy Sword." After Rias saved him from death, he became her servant while vowing to avenge his friends, who were discarded as test subjects, and to punish those responsible. He also holds a deep-seated hatred for the Holy Sword Excalibur. He first appears in Volume 1, where he brings Issei to the Occult Research Club under Rias’ orders. In combat, Yuuto utilizes superhuman speed, which Issei refers to as God-Speed, alongside exceptional swordsmanship. His primary weapon is the Sacred Gear Sword Birth, allowing him to generate an infinite array of Demon Swords, including Holy Eraser and Flame Delete. During his battle with Freed, he acquired a sub-species Balance Breaker named Sword of Betrayer. This powerful fusion of a Demonic and a Holy Sword was unlocked after he merged his Sacred Gear with the spirits of his fallen comrades.
