Summary
Foxy the Silver Fox serves as the captain of the Foxy Pirates. He is a stout man with slender limbs, featuring a cleft lip-like mouth, a long red nose similar to that of Kaku and Usopp, and a unique hairstyle that gives him a fox-like appearance. He typically dons yellow-orange suspenders and a coat that appears purple in the anime but is silver in the manga and related media. A cheater and trickster, Foxy participated in the Davy Back Fight, a contest allowing the victors to steal crew members from the losers. While most of his crew joined him through this method, they are genuinely enthusiastic about being part of the Foxy Pirates, wholeheartedly supporting their captain and teammates during the matches. Although he acts supremely confident and narcissistic, Foxy is extremely sensitive to criticism. Insults cause him to instantly become depressed, often resulting in him losing his footing and collapsing under a black cloud, though kind words can quickly lift his spirits. Nami and Usopp exploited this weakness by alternating insults and compliments during the roller race, leaving him emotionally and physically paralyzed.
