Arata Nakaizumi represents the Nakaizumi School in the tournament as its sole competitor, serving as Gama’s second opponent. The school specializes in archery, a discipline Arata has mastered through years of dedicated training. He utilizes three distinct types of arrows, each requiring significant time to perfect. The first is Destruction, an arrow featuring a holed head with a lead mass at the end to stabilize its flight path, offering high accuracy and massive destructive power after two years of practice. The second is Encircle, which trades some power and speed for maneuverability; its curved arrowhead and fletching allow it to change direction using air resistance, a technique Arata spent three years mastering. The third and most lethal option is Fang, which took seven years to control. Upon impact, this arrow crushes into the target’s flesh and bone. Arata survives the encounter, securing Kurogame Gama’s second victory in the second round of the competition.
