Shenazard, Raji
Summary
Raji is the seventeen-year-old prince of Tanbarun, the homeland of Shirayuki’s mother. With brown hair and gray-blue eyes, he is widely perceived by his subjects and even by the neighboring nation of Clarines as an idiotic and selfish ruler who acts entirely on his own whims. His arbitrary nature led him to order Shirayuki to become his concubine simply because of her rare red hair. In response to this absolute command, Shirayuki cut her long hair and fled to Clarines. The situation escalated when Zen was poisoned by an apple sent by Raji, which was originally intended for Shirayuki. Raji then forced Shirayuki to come to his castle to serve as his concubine, offering the antidote in exchange for her compliance. However, Shirayuki was on the verge of agreeing when a recovered Zen burst in, revealing himself to be the second prince of Clarines. He held Raji at sword-point, demanding that he leave Shirayuki alone or risk straining the diplomatic relations between Clarines and Tanbarun. Naturally, Raji obeyed.
