Shirotani, Tadaomi
Summary
Shirotani Tadaomi is a thirty-one-year-old employee of the Tosawa Corporation. He has struggled with mysophobia since childhood, a condition that influences both his appearance and his behavior. He features short strawberry blonde hair, light brown eyes, and a distinctive mole beneath his right eye. His typical attire consists of a suit paired with gloves, often layered under a long beige jacket. To observers, Shirotani may come across as rude, inconsiderate, or arrogant. In reality, however, he suffers from low self-esteem and possesses a deep concern for the well-being of others. He deliberately keeps his distance from people to avoid causing them harm through his mysophobia. This guilt intensified after his boss was injured in an accident, leading Shirotani to blame himself heavily. With the assistance of Kurose Riku, a counselor at the Shimada Psychosomatics clinic, Shirotani has begun addressing his phobia. He is currently undergoing exposure therapy under Riku’s guidance to overcome his fears.
