Summary
Yuuka Izumi serves as the president of the gardening club, standing as its sole member alongside Kenichi. She is a young teenage girl of average height, distinguished by long black hair styled in two braids at the back with fringe in the front. She is almost always depicted wearing glasses, appearing in her school uniform at school or a swimsuit during leisure time. Yuuka is a shy, polite, and kind-hearted individual who harbors deep romantic feelings for Kenichi, though he remains oblivious to her affection. Her attempts to ask him on a date are consistently interrupted, and despite hearing negative rumors about him, she gets to know him personally, realizes the rumors are false, and accepts him for who he is. Her emotions eventually deepen into love, a sentiment Kenichi does not reciprocate. Nevertheless, Kenichi cares for her greatly as a friend, showing kindness and concern for her well-being, such as becoming enraged when Daimonji used her as a hostage and remaining determined to save her. Within the Ryozanpaku household, Yuuka feels jealousy toward Miu due to her love for Kenichi, leading her to participate in the schemes devised by Niijima. She is also somewhat envious of Miu’s well-endowed figure, wondering how someone so young possesses such a physique. Despite these jealousies, Yuuka and Miu maintain a good friendship, caring for one another deeply. Although Yuuka seems aware of Kenichi’s feelings and relationship with Miu, she respects his choices enough to allow him to be with whomever he desires, yet this does not stop her from continuing to try and win his affection.
