Ichinose, Taichi
Summary
Taichi Ichinose is a self-conscious and pessimistic teenager whose low self-esteem stems from the shadow of his best friend, Touma. Taichi feels inferior because Touma excels at everything, from athletics to social skills. He is heavily influenced by social pressures, fearing judgment for his interests and becoming easily embarrassed when he feels scrutinized. This paranoia and poor communication initially strain his relationship with Touma, as Taichi believes he is unworthy of his childhood friend’s popularity and feels excluded from their social circles, leading him to create distance. However, Taichi is a capable problem solver who quickly devises plans to help others, such as orchestrating a successful setup for Futaba. He possesses skilled hands, able to craft ornate objects, and once dreamed of opening his own toy store. Beyond crafting, he has a soft spot for cute things.
