Makimura, Kaori
Summary
As the other half of City Hunter, Kaori Makimura serves as Ryo Saeba’s partner, handling client acquisition and managerial duties. She also prepares meals and shields Ryo’s female clients from his inappropriate behavior. Although her combat prowess pales in comparison to his, she can incapacitate him using weapons from her hammerspace, most notably a hammer that typically weighs at least 100 tons, though she employs other items as well. She acquired knowledge of trap-setting and explosives from Umibozu. Her shooting accuracy is deliberately impaired by Ryo’s tampering with her firearm, a measure he took to ensure she never misses, thereby sparing her from the bloodshed he endures.
