Summary
Takopi, whose true name is Nn-ueinu-kf, serves as the central protagonist of the Takopi's Original Sin series. Originating from the Planet Happy, a realm dedicated to the dissemination of joy and positive energy, he is a Happian alien who descends to Earth in 2016. His mission is to spread happiness to others, utilizing a collection of advanced devices known as Happy Gadgets to resolve issues and enhance the well-being of those he meets. Upon crashing on Earth, he meets Shizuka Kuze, a reclusive and emotionally scarred young girl who suffers from intense bullying at school and neglect within her family. Deeply affected by her visible sorrow, Takopi resolves to remain by her side and assist her in finding happiness, offering support in any way he can. Despite his genuine kindness and benevolent intentions, Takopi possesses a profound ignorance regarding human emotions, social dynamics, and the intricacies of interpersonal relationships. His lack of understanding concerning the long-term repercussions of his actions and the severity of human psychological pain leads his well-meaning interventions to trigger a cascade of increasingly grave and tragic consequences for Shizuka.
