Residing within the grandest castle on Greed Island, Dwun is tasked with distributing prizes for the quiz and the eventual tournament victor. Despite his important duties, he exhibits a highly immature and disorganized demeanor, mocking Gon’s optimism regarding finding leads for Ging. The letter "D" in Greed Island's name is a nod to his identity, and he once offered Gon a choice between a regular or tailored ending, even though no such custom conclusion exists. Dwun characterizes Ging as a terrible person. His true name is Wdwune, but when Ging learned this, he remarked, "I see. Then take out the W. From now on, you're D-w-u-n, Dwun." Dwun’s private quarters are cluttered with games and smoke, showcasing his laziness to the point where he can smoke while playing games using his feet.
