Summary

Makoto Kino, known as Lita Kino in the original English dub, is a fourteen-year-old student in Usagi Tsukino’s class. Rumors once circulated that she had been expelled from her previous school for fighting, a reputation stemming from her unusually tall and strong physique for a Japanese schoolgirl. She transforms into Sailor Jupiter, the Guardian of Thunder and Courage. Following the death of both parents in a plane crash years ago, Makoto lives independently and manages her own household. She devotes herself to developing her physical strength and domestic skills, particularly in housekeeping, cooking, and gardening. In combat, she excels at hand-to-hand fighting. Her dream is to marry a handsome young man and run a shop selling flowers and cakes. Her motto is, A peony standing, a tree peony sitting, in the form of the lily flower when walking.
