Hyou, Shoukun
Summary
Shoukun Hyou served as the mother of Shuurei, the wife of Shouka, and the adoptive mother of Seiran. Renowned for her legendary beauty and gentle nature, she was deeply involved in the upbringing of her children. She taught Shuurei various domestic skills, including how to bake steamed buns, where she realized her daughter was a far superior cook, as well as how to harvest tangerines and conduct herself with the grace of a lady. Alongside her husband, she rescued a silent boy found in the snow during their travels to Kiyou and named him Seiran, meaning Silent Orchid, due to his presumed muteness. Hyou formed strong bonds with both children, specifically encouraging Seiran to maintain a constant smile to bring joy to Shuurei.
