Summary
Yu Ziyuan, also known as Madam Yu or the Violet Spider, was the spouse of Jiang Fengmian, the former head of the Yunmeng Jiang Sect, and the mother of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. Characterized by a cold and assertive demeanor that rarely endeared her to others, she was a powerful cultivator whose reputation alone was enough to intimidate many. Her relationship with Wei Wuxian was notably hostile, as she blamed him for the troubles plaguing her family and frequently disparaged him in discussions with her husband.
