Summary
Bronzazza Sekke is a magic knight who was defeated by Asta during their entrance exam. He subsequently befriended Asta, viewing the apparently incompetent magician as a mere stepping stone to showcase his own superior magical abilities. As a member of his squad, Bronzazza frequently complains about the harsh conditions and his assignment to tedious, monotonous chores. His path crosses with Asta’s group while he is gambling with an elderly woman in the black market. In an attempt to impress the women accompanying Asta, he pursues a burglar but ends up stabbing his own foot with a paralysis-inducing knife. Believing his life is effectively over due to this injury, he attempts to pass his unfulfilled ambitions onto Asta, only to realize moments later that the wound is not fatal.
