Uho no Fiamma
Summary
Uho no Fiamma is a male Magician and the supreme leader of God's Right Seat, serving as the primary antagonist of the magic side in the Toaru Majutsu no Index Light Novels. His name is derived from the Italian word for flame, "Fiamma." Within the organization, he holds the highest rank, commanding such absolute loyalty from his subordinates that they revere him more than the Pope himself. Although he maintains a calm exterior, he is actually manipulative and ambitious, willing to overstep the authority of the Roman Catholic Church by utilizing the entire Russian Orthodox Church and even declaring war on Academy City. As the central pillar of God's Right Seat, he asserts that while members like Acqua, Terra, and Vento can be replaced during his lifetime, the organization would cease to exist without him. His objectives involve capturing Touma, whom he seeks for his power which Fiamma classifies as the Holy Right, and Index, whom he targets for her knowledge of inaccessible forms of magic. Leveraging his role as the current Pope's mentor, he labels Touma a heretic to justify his capture. Fiamma possesses immense destructive capability, demonstrated when he unleashed an attack powerful enough to obliterate all of Rome; however, the Pope absorbed two-thirds of the blast to shield the city, resulting in the Pope being hospitalized while only a portion of the Vatican was damaged.
