Summary
Pesche is a relatively benign, humanoid Hollow characterized by an insectoid mask featuring prominent mandibles. He is typically seen wearing an eyepatch and a loincloth, with his Hollow hole situated unusually low on his torso, near his stomach rather than his chest. Originally serving as one of Nel Tu’s Fracción alongside Dondo, both were stripped of their masks by Nnoitra and abandoned with Nel. Upon discovering that their master had reverted to a vulnerable child, they vowed to shield her from her past by keeping her former life a secret, spending the intervening period traversing Hueco Mundo together. During this time, Pesche inadvertently led Uryū into Las Noches, mistakenly believing him to be Ichigo. He was initially displeased by this, underestimating Uryū’s strength due to his appearance while wrongly assuming Chad was the most powerful among them. In combat, Pesche utilizes an ability known as Infinite Slick, which involves spraying saliva to drastically reduce the friction of any object it touches. Despite its name implying an unlimited supply, the liquid is finite; Pesche admitted to choosing the title simply because "Finite Slick" lacked the same cool factor. While the ability might seem trivial, he successfully neutralized Cirucci’s weapon by coating it in the substance, and it can similarly cause foes to slip or lose their grip. He is also capable of executing a synchronized cero attack with Dondo. Furthermore, Pesche wields an energy sword called Ultima, which he compares to one of Uryū’s Seele Schneiders. He humorously draws the blade from his loincloth by gripping its vaguely phallic hilt.
