Tsubame
Summary
Tsubame harbors a deep desire to reconnect with Taniozaki, a human who once aided her. Natsume steps in to facilitate this reunion, and the two companions gradually develop a close bond. However, when Tsubame finally locates Taniozaki, Natsume feels a pang of regret; since Taniozaki is a regular human, he cannot see or communicate with spirits like her. Motivated by this limitation, Natsume takes aim for a special kimono that can temporarily transform a spirit into a human for a single day. This prize is offered as a reward in the youkai festival's competition, and Tarusaru informs Natsume of its existence, prompting her to strive to win it.
