Summary
Belle holds the distinction of being the fourth Disney Princess to make an appearance. She enters the narrative during the events of "Beauty and the Beast," when Kilala arrives in her world. Portrayed as both loving and patient, Belle demonstrates unwavering faith in the Beast despite the abuse she endures. She remains convinced that his harsh exterior masks a shy nature and an inability to express his true feelings. Offering guidance to Kilala, Belle shares the wisdom that nurturing love will eventually yield results. When the Beast eventually confesses his emotions by presenting her with a watch, Belle accepts the gift with joy, promising to cherish it. Prior to Kilala’s departure, Belle gives her an amber that was originally contained within the watch.
