Shidou, Souichirou

Summary

Souichirou "Nachi" Shidou serves as Madoka’s fiancé and is the vocalist for the male duo OZ. Originating from Kyoto, he underwent plastic surgery to pursue a singing career specifically to win Madoka’s affection. He adopted the stage name Nachi after growing tired of Madoka calling him "Cheesy." A side story reveals his wealthy background and his deep connection to Madoka, while his immense popularity is evidenced by the overwhelming volume of fan mail directed at him, which often overshadowed Takuto’s fame. Visually, he is distinguished by his green hair, which contrasts with Madoka’s purple locks, though the author, Arina Tanemura, noted that this color choice accidentally mirrored the designs of Minazuki and Miyako. Tanemura found him effortless to draw due to his natural aura and affectionately nicknamed him "Natchii," a moniker that once confused her editor when she referenced Morning Musume. Within the narrative, Nachi is stabbed in one chapter following an incident involving Ms. Oshige and a birthday gift for Mitsuki. He is also depicted as a servant to a prince and is seen on a balcony with Madoka in the seventh volume, watching Mitsuki perform. As a character exclusive to the manga, he does not have a seiyuu.
