Summary
Kamui is a fifteen-year-old male from Okinawa who possesses immense psychic abilities, including telekinesis and what is described as the proverbial power of God. In the anime adaptation, he can also create a perfect spherical Kekkai barrier. He is the son of the deceased Shirou Tooru, also known as Magami Tooru, and is related to Magami Tokiko. His romantic interest lies with Monou Kotori, while Monou Fuma is considered a close friend. When first introduced at the beginning of X, Kamui appears as a brooding and somewhat cocky teenager. He has returned to Tokyo, where he spent his early childhood, for the first time in six years. This journey was prompted by the mysterious dying words of his mother, Shirou Tooru, who claimed that his destiny awaited him in the capital.
