Summary
Zorom was a low-ranking mazoku serving under Rezo the Red Priest. He appeared as an elderly man with green skin, five red eyes, and a hood-cloak. Following the betrayal by Rezo's great-grandson, the Red Priest commanded Zorom to assassinate the traitor and retrieve the Orihalcon Statue, which actually held the Philosopher's Stone. Instead, Zorom encountered Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev. His combat style involved rapidly extending his razor-sharp fingernails to stab his opponents like spears. Lina’s attacks proved ineffective, and the situation remained dire even when Zorom transformed into his true form, a larger, hunched version of his base self equipped with two additional arms. The conflict ended when Gourry drew the Sword of Light for the first time in the anime, effortlessly cutting down Zorom as the swordsman attempted to seize the statue.
