Summary
Chuukaku, also known by the kanji 中覚, was a ninja monk and scholar who resided at the Fire Temple. He served as the mentor to Chiriku, instructing him prior to his own death. Following his passing, Chuukaku was laid to rest in the temple’s cemetery. Years later, during his search for Chiriku, Kabuto accidentally reanimated Chuukaku using the Impure World Reincarnation Technique. When the Fourth Shinobi World War erupted, Kabuto deployed Chuukaku, considering him one of his weaker assets, as a decoy to draw out stronger opponents. While Chuukaku attempted to unseal the Third Raikage, he was ambushed by Temari and subsequently sealed by the Fourth Division. Once the reanimation jutsu was lifted, his soul was released and returned to the afterlife.
