Makimura Shiori is a brilliant scientist who serves as the Chief of the Humanoid Nursing and Battlefield Weapons Department, as well as the Advanced Technology Development Division at the Mikado Hyper Energy (M.H.E) Electronics Corporation. With a primary focus on computers and mechas, her team was responsible for creating Nursing Robot Eight and other machines featured in the series. Her technical prowess is so exceptional that she once managed to construct a mecha while half asleep.
