Summary

Duke Klaus von Lichtenlade served as the Premier of the Galactic Empire during the reigns of Friedrich IV and briefly under Erwin Josef II. Unlike the Kaiser’s maternal relatives, such as Duke Otho von Braunschweig or Marquis Wilhelm von Littenheim, who wielded significant authority beyond the palace walls, Lichtenlade held little influence as a palace courtier. Consequently, following the death of Kaiser Friedrich IV, he chose to support Reinhard von Lohengramm to strengthen his own political standing. However, this alliance with Reinhard von Lohengramm ultimately proved to be short-lived.
