Yung, Sally
Summary
Sally Yung, a former classmate of Faye’s from their high school days, makes her initial appearance on a mysterious beta cassette. She is later encountered in Session 24, "Hard Luck Woman," where she finds Faye beside the massive lion fountain featured in the recording. Now in her eighties and using a wheelchair, Sally immediately recognizes Faye, a greeting that triggers a series of flashback images for the latter. Sally explains that Faye was placed into cryogenic stasis after an accident, which accounts for her youthful appearance. During their conversation, Sally remarks that seeing Faye is so startling it feels like seeing a ghost. Faye has no memory of her friend or the accident. When Sally introduces her granddaughter, Ms. Valentine describes her as "a ghost from the past."
