Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Unlocks New Voices, Theme Songs, PV2

The official site for Tensei shitara Ken deshita II just dropped a loaded update package: three more cast members, theme-song credits, a new key visual, and a second promotional video. Yuu Tanaka’s beloved light novel sequel is barreling toward a late-night television launch on October 8 (midnight slot) across Tokyo MX, ABC TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X, with ABEMA also teeing up an early stream the week before.

Joining the fray are Shiori Izawa as Nanashi, Show Hayami as Lich, and Hiroki Gotou as Urushi—handy reinforcements for Fran and her talking blade as the adventure widens. The music side is equally stacked: band FZMZ handles the opening “DREAM OF BUTTERFLY,” while HANABIE. delivers the ending “Baribari Buddy,” both previewed inside the new trailer.

Season 1 director Shinji Ishihira returns at studio C2C, with Takahiro Nagano on series composition, Atsuko Saitou on character designs, and Yasuharu Takanashi scoring the score. After the original cour’s 2022 run and HIDIVE’s North American pick-up, TenKen’s second season is lining up as one of fall’s sharper isekai comebacks—steel, sparks, and all.
