Main PV Drops for 'I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand'

The main promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has arrived, giving fans a substantial first look at the fantasy story just weeks before it hits screens.
The trailer centers on S-rank mage Luck Lock Franzen, who made a solitary stand against demonic hordes to buy his comrades time to escape. After a decade of fighting, he returns to a world that has crowned him a legend who fell in battle, forcing him to confront fame, changed alliances, and an uncertain future.
Studio Gekkou is handling animation under director Hiroyuki Kanbe, with series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota and character designs by Majiro. The new PV also debuts the opening theme “Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku” by sajou no hana and the ending “Arikitari na Nichijo to Koun na Hibi e” by MEISHOHIKOKAI.
The series premieres July 6, 2026, on TOKYO MX and affiliates, with Prime Video offering early access three days ahead in supported regions. Supporting cast includes Yui Ishikawa as Celliss Morton, Mayu Sagara as Sia Wolcott, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Eric, and Tsuyoshi Koyama as Goran, alongside additional voices revealed in prior updates.
Adapted from Ezogingitune’s long-running light novel series (originally a web novel), the project blends large-scale action with the quieter struggles of a hero learning how to live again after becoming myth.
