Synopsis
In "The New Chronicles of Extraordinary Beings: Preface," Hao Ren, a young man from a fourth-tier city, gets by on the small rental income from his old property. While searching for a job, he unexpectedly becomes a "universe police officer." Balancing the unusual tenants assigned to him by his superiors, Hao Ren finds himself caught in an emerging cosmic crisis within the Dream Plane Universe. The origins of Earth's abnormal creatures and the ancient ruins in the Dream Plane appear to be connected. As he delves deeper into his investigation, Hao Ren faces a series of daunting mysteries—including a cataclysmic event triggered by the eldest son, the fall of the creator goddess, and other age-old, chilling cases that overwhelm him. With the challenges mounting, Hao Ren begins to realize that he cannot afford to be careless in his duties.
