Synopsis
NHK launches a project converting the personal accounts of atomic bomb survivors into animated shorts. These narratives come from firsthand testimonies contributed to NHK’s yearly recitation gathering, an event intended for reading and sharing survivors’ stories over the last nine years. So far, 2,200 accounts have been gathered.
Background
The 3rd story Sekai no Kuniguni no Kodomo-tachi e is not included in this entry due to being made by a Latvian animation studio.
