Synopsis

Huoli Shaonian Wang is a Chinese multimedia franchise designed to encourage yo-yo play among children. The third installment, Huoli Shaonian Wang 3, focuses on rival schools competing in yo-yo contests. Each team confronts and overcomes its own unique obstacles. Every yo-yo has a specific name derived from its appearance. The series employs subtle visual effects to depict magical, spiritual, chi-related, and speed-related qualities of the yo-yos. These "magical spells" serve as the foundation for the battles, where the winner is determined by whose "magic" lasts the longest.

Huoli Shaonian Wang 3 also got a live-action adaptation, they used the first half of the anime to create the live-action show's story before deviating.
