Synopsis
Takashi is deemed unnecessary by the world. His exhausted but strong mother abandons him in a car at a deserted location, apologizing as she leaves him behind. Crying alone, Takashi encounters other abandoned children in a place known as the "Land of Beast." Tens of children reside there under the care of men called "TEN." Although the environment is not affluent, the children appear to live happily. The "TEN" look intimidating, yet their blunt words hide deep compassion. One day, a childless couple adopts Ken, the cutest child, promising him a happy life, which makes everyone jealous. Suddenly, a luxurious car arrives, bearing the face of the "SHINDU," an organization that forcibly takes children away. The children refer to this group as "SARAIYA." While the others flee, Takashi is caught and taken into the vehicle. The remaining children and "TEN" pray, accepting the inevitability. The car passes through a large gate to a place called "JAIL." Takashi questions the patrolling "MIHARI" about his treatment, receiving a cold response that he will be executed in three days. True to the prediction, Takashi is executed after a judgment by the guards. This fate is commonplace in the pet world but represents a forced and absurd procedure in human society. The narrative is set within the Buddha's world.
