Synopsis
An unemployed man picks up a flyer that turns out to be a notice seeking investors to fund the raising of a sunken ship, with each share costing 10 yen. For a man who cannot even scrape together enough money for a 10-sen shochu, this notice feels entirely out of his reach. That evening, he passes by a bar, is drawn inside, and drinks himself to sleep. When he wakes up, he finds himself at the bottom of the sea. There, he meets a samurai who is initially suspicious of him, but upon realizing the man is Japanese, they join forces to search for treasure. Almost immediately, they discover the sunken ship Mononai-go. What will become of them?
