In the series Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou, the protagonist is Mameko, a young woman who is a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). She lives with her dog Komachi and her three cats—Tabi, Simba, and Mero. Her personal motto is "I'll do my best...starting tomorrow!"
