Synopsis
Away from the city's clamor lies Torishirojima—a serene, unhurried island where time flows gently. Hairi Takahara, a young boy with a wounded spirit, uses his grandmother's recent passing as a pretext to escape the city and spend the summer on Torishirojima. Upon arriving, Hairi is embraced by the island's refreshing, relaxed vibe, a stark contrast to his usual fast-paced life. Moving in with his aunt, Kyouko Misaki, he plans to spend the summer helping her sort through a shed packed with artifacts his grandmother collected over the years, alongside his cousin Umi Katou, who is also staying there. As he adjusts to the island's leisurely rhythm, Hairi decides to explore in his free time. He soon encounters the cheerful Tsumugi Wenders, the reclusive Shiroha Naruse, the wandering Kamome Kushima, and the sharp-tongued Ao Sorakado. Drawn into their lives and the island's subtle enigmas, Hairi gradually becomes immersed in a summer filled with joy, nostalgia, and transformative moments that will linger with him forever.
