Synopsis
Shinano works as a character designer, going through a dull, repetitive daily life. Her creations are swallowed up by a profit-driven system, and on social media she never finds a place where she truly belongs, which only makes her isolation worse. Then one day, Koyami—a figure wearing a fox mask, originally from her old sketches—appears before her. More of her discarded characters follow, making the line between reality and fantasy grow hazy. As she journeys through her own inner world, Shinano comes to understand that these beings are pieces of herself, the physical form of her loneliness. She decides to go on making art, even as she learns to coexist with that emptiness.
