Synopsis
A surreal kiri-gami cutout animation depicting a young girl's physical voyage that also functions as an inner journey, one through which she comes to experience life's every sorrow and joy. She ventures into an unnamed Western city, a strange dreamlike realm filled with references drawn from the works of Dali, Magritte, de Chirico, and Escher. This trip will transform her entirely, yet upon returning, she alone will be aware of the change. (The poem featured in the film is by the renowned Chinese poet Su Tong-Po.)
