Since his father passed away, Tanjirou Kamado has shouldered the responsibility of providing for his family. Although they live in poverty on a remote mountain, the Kamado household enjoys a relatively peaceful and happy life. One day, Tanjirou goes down to a nearby village to earn some money by selling charcoal. As night falls on his way back, he is forced to take refuge in the home of a strange man, who warns him about flesh-eating demons that lurk in the woods after dark. When he finally returns home the following morning, he is confronted with a horrific scene—his entire family has been slaughtered. Even worse, the only survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a bloodthirsty demon. Fueled by rage and grief, Tanjirou vows to avenge his family and stay by his last remaining sibling. Alongside the mysterious organization known as the Demon Slayer Corps, he will do whatever it takes to slay demons and preserve the last remnants of his beloved sister's humanity.

High schooler Yuuji Itadori spends his free time either in the Occult Club, casually indulging in baseless paranormal activities, or at the hospital visiting his bedridden grandfather. This easygoing routine takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a cursed item. A chain of supernatural events is set off after Yuuji swallows the object, which turns out to be a finger belonging to Sukuna Ryoumen, the King of Curses. Thrust into the world of Curses—beings born from human malice and negativity—he quickly learns the threat they pose to society as he discovers his own new abilities. When trouble strikes, a mysterious red phone number might appear. Dialing it connects you to Yato, a minor deity who calls himself the Yato God and aspires to amass millions of followers. Lacking even a single shrine, his ambitions remain unfulfilled, forcing him to scrape by with five-yen odd jobs. His situation worsens when his weapon partner abandons him for being incompetent. Yato’s fortunes shift when middle school student Hiyori Iki seemingly sacrifices herself to save him from a vehicle collision. While she survives, the incident destabilizes her spirit, allowing her soul to detach from her body. To restore her normal state, Hiyori insists Yato fix the problem, which requires a new weapon partner. Reluctantly, she agrees to assist him in finding one, offering hope that Yato’s luck is finally improving.

High school student Ichigo Kurosaki leads a normal life until his family is targeted by a Hollow, a malevolent spirit that devours human souls. During the attack, he encounters Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who is wounded while defending Ichigo’s relatives. To protect his family, Ichigo accepts Rukia’s proposal to assume her powers, thereby becoming a Soul Reaper himself. Since Rukia cannot recover her abilities, Ichigo takes on the difficult responsibility of eliminating the Hollows infesting their town. He is not solitary in this mission, as he is eventually aided by his friends and classmates Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryuu Ishida, each possessing distinct talents. As Ichigo and his companions adjust to their new roles and support one another both in combat and daily life, the young Soul Reaper discovers that Hollows are not the sole danger threatening the human world.

Yukiteru Amano is a timid middle school student who habitually records everything he does in his daily life on his phone—a digital diary. At school, he has no friends, but he is often seen talking to his supposed imaginary companions: Deus Ex Machina, the god of time and space, and Deus' servant, Mur Mur. Unaware that the demons behind the disappearances have already enacted their sinister scheme, the group must summon their full strength and wield their blades to protect the two hundred passengers on board. As the situation deteriorates, Tanjirou’s determination and sense of duty face a severe trial.
