Synopsis
Tabi no Kisetsu is an educational film that deals with overcoming moral failings. The narrative follows a poor young boy who repeatedly cheats an elderly woman selling daifuku-mochi, tricking her out of her money. Over time, his feelings of guilt build until he decides to set things right by giving back everything he stole. But when he goes to apologize, he discovers that the woman has recently passed away.
