Synopsis
In a game of make-believe, two eight-year-old boys show off their youthful bravado. Ken pretends to be a ninja, while Nito, shaped by darker experiences, pictures himself as a child soldier from the Congo who was forced to kill his own mother. As they play, these starkly different worlds collide, highlighting both the innocence and harsh realities of their lives. The film uses shifting visual styles to examine the extremes of what humans can endure and the connections that link them.
