Synopsis
Continues the story of Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside
In the peaceful countryside far from Zoltan's demon-infested borders, Red, a D-Rank adventurer, finally achieves his long-held dream of running an apothecary and enjoying a quiet life through his own efforts. This tranquility is disrupted when Rit, the princess of the Duchy of Loggervia and also an adventurer, abandons her royal duties to live with him and help at his shop. Though Red appears to be a genuine and friendly person respected by everyone, he hides a secret connection to Rit—Red is actually Gideon, the older sibling of Ruti Ragnason, the Hero. After their victory over the Demon Lord, Red was cast out of the Hero's party by Ares Drowa, the Sage, who deemed him insufficiently powerful and insignificant. Even though Red left the party to start a new life with Rit, his past continues to resurface and cast shadows over his present.
In this installment
Former Hero Ruti now enjoys a peaceful life in the border town Zoltan, freed from the burden of her Blessing, living with her assassin roommate Tisse. She finds joy with her apothecary brother Red, once the Guide of her former Hero's Party, as he delights in his blissful relationship with his partner Princess Rit, whom he plans to marry. Yet this peace is threatened by the arrival of a new Hero whose strict obedience to their Blessing's orders could shatter the calm of Zoltan.
