In "Hoshi ni Negai wo: Cold Body + Warm Heart," Hikari sets out on a voyage aboard the spaceship Armadillo following her mother Mari's fusion with it. During her travels, she meets various people and experiences numerous adventures. Key among these meetings are Romeo, a strange boy who appears from the noise Hikari pulls from the Web, and her distant father, Raven.

In a futuristic setting on the commercial hub of Planet Magracia, bustling with constant space traffic, a young girl named Lilly develops a fascination with a new and enigmatic student named Hikari. Despite being the same age as Lilly, Hikari exudes a maturity beyond her years and has yet to form any close friendships, earning her a reputation as somewhat distant. Lilly eagerly waits for an opportunity to connect with her admired peer. Suddenly, a strange feline-like creature enters their classroom, disrupting their routine and leading to unexpected changes in their lives.
