Synopsis
Twenty years have elapsed since the combining robot Dandivine vanquished the mysterious invaders called the Aposdoll. With that menace eliminated, the world has enjoyed an extended period of peace. However, for the toy manufacturer Casga—a company whose prosperity was built on the popularity of Dandivine merchandise—that peace has exacted a price. Having leaned too heavily on the legendary robot’s fame, the business has steadily declined. Desperate to revive both Dandivine and his struggling company, Casga’s president, Genjurou Shijima, longs for the robot’s return—even if it means shattering the peace. Then, as if his wish is granted, the Aposdolls suddenly reappear in Tokyo. As panic spreads among a populace that has known only peace for two decades, high school student Gekiha Shijima is recruited by his uncle, Yuusaku Kuroiwa, the former main pilot of Dandivine. Pulled into the cockpit of the legendary machine, Gekiha finds himself at the center of a new conflict. Why have the Aposdolls returned after all these years? Can Dandivine rise once more to meet the threat? A new chapter in humanity’s struggle is about to begin.
