Synopsis
In a coastal fishing hamlet, an abandoned boat is set ablaze. Old fishing boats, approaching the end of their lives, imagine races with deep-sea fish speeding through the village streets, fishermen hauling in their catches, and the grieving spirit of a little girl... These images rise and fall like ocean tides, drawing the audience into a dreamlike state. This poetic film received high praise from critics around the world, beginning with its accolades at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival.
