Synopsis
Continues the story of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-
Subaru Natsuki exits a convenience store, unaware that his ordinary life is about to be disrupted when he is suddenly transported to a fantastical world. His situation quickly deteriorates as he is attacked by a gang, left defenseless with only a shopping bag and a useless phone, and is incapacitated. Fortunately, a striking woman named Satella, who is chasing a stolen emblem, arrives just in time to save him. Grateful for her help, Subaru chooses to assist Satella in her search, and by nightfall, he discovers where the emblem is. However, their success is short-lived, as they are both brutally killed by an unseen evil shortly after retrieving the item. To Subaru's surprise, he wakes up moments before the first attack, with the events repeating themselves. The mystery deepens as Subaru experiences the same sequence of events again, facing the same enemies and meeting Satella once more.

In what was supposed to be a joyful reunion, Subaru Natsuki and Emilia return to Irlam Village only to find it destroyed by the calamities known as the Sin Archbishops. As Subaru struggles with his inability to effectively use his redo power, hope begins to slip away. The group sets out on a journey to the Sanctuary in search of answers, where Subaru meets the Witch of Greed, Echidna. Trapped by her chaotic influence, Subaru is forced to explore the twists of time. At the same time, a series of mysterious dangers begin targeting the Sanctuary, hinting at a grim fate for its inhabitants. Season two of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- delves into eternal contracts, past sins, and unrequited love, all converging in a torrent of bloodshed. As despair grows, how long can Subaru hold onto his determination to save those he cares about?
