Synopsis
HIFANA's groundbreaking approach to live shows and music production has captivated electronic music audiences worldwide. On July 28, 2010, the band released their full-length album "24H," built around the theme of "1 day : 24 hours." The release contains 12 audio tracks and 12 video tracks, each depicting different occurrences over the course of a day. Known for their "Tokyo-born Japanese Hybrid Breakbeats" sound, which blends diverse audio elements through free-form editing, HIFANA pushed their experimental work further with this album. It features 12 new, tightly arranged songs, highlighted by "HANABEAM," inspired by the explosive sounds of fireworks. Guest artists on the album include UA, Spinna B-ILL, Twigy, Chinza Dopeness, Leyona, Yohei Miyake, Mitsuyoshi Azuma, and Keyco. The included DVD holds 12 videos, one for each track on the album. Over 15 emerging visual artists contributed to the project, with HIFANA and W+K Tokyo Lab spearheading the collaborative creative direction.
